Yarn bombing
I was lucky enough to be invited to Timsbury Childcare to work with the children and yarn bomb their garden. During the planning I had to consider that activities needed to be ok for pre-school to 11-year-olds, meaning any complicated designs or the need for tools would be inappropriate. Deciding on a basic tassel and pompom design worked brilliantly, with wrapped sticks to make the childcare sign. All of the children were able to contribute, regardless of age, and the energy and enthusiasm from those who took part was a joy to share.
